act of that acceptance brings with it the letting
go. Realizing the truth of impermanence not only
helps us to let of grasping, it leaves something
even greater behind it it removes the veils
of ignorance. Permanence dissolves, and in the
truth of impermanence is revealed the limitless,
skylike nature of mind.

| NATURAL
GREAT PEACE |
|
Our real problem is one of
mental manipulation and fabrication. But if we
keep our mind pure and allow it to rest quietly,
in the natural state, what happens as we practice
is quite extraordinary. As Buddha said, "With
our thoughts we make the world."
This course explores meditation as a practice
for inner peace, and the blessings revealed when
we come in touch with the nature of our mind.
The emphasis in this instruction is on naturalness,
and on allowing our mind simply to be, unaltered
and without changing anything at all. Based on
the classic bestseller, The Tibetan Book of Living
and Dying, and other teachings by Sogyal Rinpoche,
this course combines video selections of teachings
by Sogyal Rinpoche, with instruction, guided meditation,
and group discussion. |
